To reduce the churn rate which is very high approximately 25%, BPL wanted a scheme for their customers so as to affix them to their brand.

TravelPort presented a scheme to BPL, that by getting connected the shoppers get 2 days / 3 nights assured holidays as a gift in the form of Vac Pac which is valid till 1 year.

BPL placed an order of 50,000 units of Vac Pac for Mumbai. Looking at the success 10,000 additional units were ordered for the rest of Maharashtra. This certainly had an impact. As per the validity of Vac Pac it helped BPL to sustain their customers with their brand for a minimum of 1 year to avail the gift holidays. This also helped the sales executives to close the sale and increase the sales.
