Betwaeen mid-nov & Apr.Winters can be very cold,so take your woolens! The park closes for the monsoon season,from mid-Jun to mid-Nov.However most of the hotels & resorts surrounding the park stay open for those wishing to travel during this period, & enjoy the unique experience of the foothills in the rainy weather

Nearest Railhead:Ramnagar station (19km/half hr).Corbett is most easily accessed from delhi.Trains depart from old delhi railway station,& the journey is approximately 6-7hrs.The most convenient way to get there is by sleeper on the Ranikhet express.Be warned that the train bifurcates at moradabad,so be sure to alight on the correct part of the train! Taxi charges Rs.300 from Ramnagar to say,corbett riverside resort near Garjia.Fares will be vary depending on your place of stay
Road
Ramnagar the entry point to corbett,is approximately 280km by road from Delhi via Moradabad.Its a straightforward drive across the Moradabad bypass.Then after the bridge over the ramganga,turn left on the kashipur rd.Cross the river dehla & follow the road that skirts the reserve,crossing the amdanda & garjia gates before reaching dhangarhi,the main entrance.Take a left here into corbett NP.Regular buses leave for Ramnagar from ISBT Anand vihar,delhi
